With the birth of your child, it is important to instill healthy eating habits and the importance of preparing food under healthy conditions. Therefore, our school's menu includes a variety of foods containing vegetables, fruits, proteins, and many other healthy nutrients that a child should consume daily according to the food pyramid.
During the preschool years, a child should be able to prepare their own meals when necessary. The process of learning to choose healthy food items can start with a fun activity such as going to a grocery store or market with a parent. You can teach your children the tricks of selecting healthy vegetables and fruits, and explain to them what to look for on the label of a product you pick from the shelf. Encouraging your children to consume homemade healthy soups, vegetable, and meat dishes instead of ready-made and frozen foods such as French fries, pizza, hamburgers ordered from outside can help establish healthy eating habits at a very young age, which will assist them in making healthy food choices on their own in their adolescence and adulthood.
Healthy eating is a crucial part of our daily program at Binbir Çiçek Children's House and Montessori Preschool, so we expect parents to provide necessary support in conveying and teaching the importance of healthy living and quality nutrition to our children. The best way to teach our children the value of food is to set an example by choosing foods in their natural form as much as possible in our daily lives.
Allergies
If your child has any food or object allergies, please inform us during registration. In such cases, a new diet program equivalent to our daily nutrition program will be applied to prevent allergic reactions in your child.
Please do not send any kind of sweets, snacks, or deli products to school. This is because we have children in our school who have serious allergies to such foods.
Our healthy eating program covers all activities organized at school. Therefore, for birthdays, special occasions, or any other day, please make sure that the cakes you choose are free from food coloring, fondant, caramel, chocolate, excessive cream, etc., or send a list stating the contents of the food we will share with our friends, considering the allergies of our children.
