Teacher Communication
Parents can reach out to our teachers every day via phone or by writing notes in the communication notebook. Notes written in the communication notebook or given to the school secretary are the only way to reach our teachers in the mornings. Each teacher's first task is to make time to check the children's bags upon arrival and read the notes.
However, aside from all this and our annual parent-teacher meetings, if there are additional issues that need to be discussed, parents can request an extra meeting from the school administration.
Observations
Family observations can be scheduled throughout the year as needed. Our classrooms are open for visits twice a year to avoid interrupting our children's uninterrupted work hours.
Parent-Teacher Meetings
Our parent-teacher meetings are scheduled twice a year, once per term. During these meetings, parents can discuss any issues on their minds, and they are also informed by the school staff about their children's progress throughout the year. If necessary, these meetings can be arranged more frequently. When there is a request for a meeting on any topic, contacting the school administration immediately will result in scheduling an appointment promptly.
Parent Education Programs
Throughout the year, frequent parent education programs and seminars are organized to explain the philosophy of Montessori education to our parents, discuss parenting attitudes, and cover other topics as deemed necessary. We would be happy to hear your suggestions on topics you find important and would like to see covered in such sessions, and we eagerly anticipate your participation in these meetings.
