We place great importance on communication in creating a peaceful, harmonious, and lasting environment for all our students, teachers, and parents. Your collaboration is one of the most important factors for us in creating this wonderful environment that is necessary for our children. Our goal is to provide Montessori education for families who share the values and beliefs of the Montessori method and philosophy. It is well known that maintaining the values instilled in school life through Montessori education in the home environment, with the same parallelism, is crucial and helpful for our children to internalize these principles. Therefore, we outline the fundamental principles of Binbir Çiçek Montessori Kindergarten by providing detailed information about Montessori philosophy and methods, school policies and procedures, and institution-family agreements in writing.
SCHOOL STORY Binbir Çiçek Montessori Kindergarten began its services in October 2009. Starting with 10 students and 6 staff members on the first day, our school has now grown to accommodate a capacity to serve 134 students. Adhering to all the essential philosophical principles of a Montessori school, our rapidly growing school continues to provide services in separate and secure buildings for Montessori (ages 3-6) groups.
OUR ROADMAP Binbir Çiçek Montessori Kindergarten is dedicated to creating a loving, nurturing, free yet disciplined Montessori environment to raise children who are independent, self-reliant, initiative-taking, lifelong learners with a passion for learning. Montessori education encompasses four fundamental stages of development: intellectual/cognitive development, psychological development, physical development, and social development. These developmental areas are closely related to the Montessori principle of 'encouraging the child to recognize and develop their own potential'. Our school believes that development in these areas can be achieved in an environment rich with supportive and encouraging materials. We follow the rules and philosophy of the American Montessori Society regarding which areas children are educated in, how they learn, how materials are presented, the types of environments (indoor and outdoor) in which children experience joyful and successful learning processes, and whether the parent's role facilitates and enhances the preschool child's learning process.
